Mary Arber becomes sole project organiser.
November 2006
Second part-time organiser, Mary Arber, appointed, to support
existing cafes and work with new cafes in the north of England.
First "independent" cafes open. Two schools, in Leek and Bath,
have bravely taken their first steps in independently organising their
cafes. Using the information from the website and email support from
assistant organiser, Ann Grand, Westwood College in Leek will hold its
first cafe on Wednesday 29th November (George Tyror - Nuclear power - we
need it!) and Ralph Allen School in Bath will hold theirs, with Gary
Mathlin on the "Big Bang", on Tuesday 7th
