• Science and technology have never been more important in all our lives than they are now. Cafe Scientifique offers a unique opportunity for students to meet working scientists and together explore contemporary issues in science and technology.
   
• Cafes Scientifique are forums for debating science, not its shop window.
   
• We are committed to encouraging public engagement with science and making it accountable.
   
• We encourage anyone – teachers and pupils, any age, any status, any interests – to join in to explore the latest ideas in science and technology.
   
• Cafes are student-led and teacher-supported.
